Children's Dental Health Month

To celebrate Children's Dental Health Month, Sheri visited Mrs. Reina's Classroom at The Academy of Accelerated Learning School to educate her students on proper oral hygiene, healthy food choices and about what its like to be a dental hygienist. They enjoyed the interactive games and especially loved dressing up like a dentist!

Volunteering in the Community

On Thursday May 19th, the team at Fox Gentle Dentistry set out into the community to assist in building a beautiful new playground at Malone Park. This playground is an all accessible/all inclusive community built playground right here in New Berlin.

It was a blast working along side fellow volunteers developing our team-building skills beyond our office. There were amazingly patient team leaders that educated us on several different pieces of equipment and tools. We all know Dr.Fox is good with a drill, including power drills to secure down a walkway that we built! Michele and Carrie perfected measuring and cutting the boards then using the router saw to round all the edges. Vica and Dr.fox then attatched the walkway in place. Sheri incorporated her geometry knowledge to add support beams to the top of one of the towers.

It was a beautiful day to be out helping others and giving back to our community. We can't wait to see the final product! Thanks for allowing us to be a part of such an awesome project!

Food Drive

Fox Gentle Dentistry is partnering with The Hunger Task Force and Oral & Maxollofacial Surgery Consultants of Wisconsin to help those in need. Unfortunately, there are countless families right here in southeastern Wisconsin that will go without food on the table tonight, a necessity most of us take for  granted every day.

Starting Monday October 19th, our office will be collecting non-perishable food ietms and toiletries for The Hunger Taske Force. As an incentive, for those who donate a full bag of groceries, we will be offering 15% OFF all take-home products and for new patients, a FREE comprehensive exam ($89 value). Donations will be excepted through Tuesday Nov. 17th. Thank you in advance for all your donations!

Moisturizing Hand Treatments

Winter is coming and so are dry hands!

Enjoy a complimentary moisturizing hand treatment during your appointment! We use Thera:Vie® Gloves which contain several essential oils, vitamins A & E and are fragrance and paraffin free. With a transdermal technology, the serum is absorbed into the top 3 layers of skin leaving your hands moisturized and silky. Once the gloves are applied, we place a professional heated spa mitt over to allow the pores to open further and enhance the treatment experience. Along with our massaging chairs, this complimentary treatment promotes a comfortable and relaxing appointment!

Movin for Maddie 5K

On June 2, 2012 the team at Fox Gentle Dentistry participated in the “Movin’ for Maddie”, a 5K walk/run to raise money for Dravet Syndrome in Menomonee Falls, WI.  This foundation has several annual benefits to raise money for research for this rare form of Epilepsy that begins in infancy.  We felt the connection to this even through one of our patients who has been directly affected by this disease. We were happy to help them reach their fundraising goal and enjoy the beautiful day with their friends and families.  If you would like more information or would like to donate please visit: http://www.dravetfoundation.org/
